At present  we have many types of social networking sites or app today we talk about *whats app*

WhatsApp has become an major part of social networking. If you have ever observe, WhatsApp has never further or marketed its application, still it is the fifth such application that is downloaded the most. Did not do In a month of this app, active users are more than 1 billion and no promotion is shown using it, which makes it even uncomplicated to use.
Starting of whatsapp:Brian Acton and John Kamm went out on a walk and both of them applied for a job in Facebook, which Facebook rejected. Then they both started WhatsApp applications in the year 2009, both of whom had worked together earlier in yahooWhatsApp was founded in 2009 by Brian Acton and Jan Koum, former employees of Yahoo!. After leaving Yahoo! in September 2007, they took some time off in South America. ... Koum named the app WhatsApp to sound like "what's up". On February 24, 2009, he incorporated WhatsApp Inc. in California.
 WhatsApp Logo: Not a lot is known about the origins of the WhatsApp logo. The design appears to have been around since the launch of the app itself, seeming to suggest that it was designed by Koum and Acton themselves during the initial stages of the app's development and launch. Facebook announced its plans to acquire WhatsApp in February 2014, WhatsApp's founders attached a purchase price of $16 billion: $4 billion in cash and $12 billion remaining in Facebook shares. This price tag is dwarfed by the actual price Facebook paid: $21.8 billion, or $55 per user……………….
Some of the advantages of using WhatsApp are:
• WhatsApp is completely free for use.
• Instantly send a message to anywhere in the world.
• Easy to use, even a novice mobile user can use it.
Voice call support.
• Video calling available.
• Send to anyone Document files upto 100Mb such as PDF, Slideshows

WhatsApp have some disadvantages too:
• Only smartphones are supported, many people still don't have them.
• There is risk, your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend may read the messages.
• It can be annoying sometimes due to constant messages.
• Your profile picture is visible to every person having your contact number.
